The Grand Opening of Geoffrey’s Inner Circle occurred in 1993 with saxophonist J Spencer featured as the opening act. GIC was preceded by Geoffreys in Jack London Square and the Dock of the Bay on the Berkeley Marina in which Geoffrey served as General Manager. Geoffreys has hosted celebrities such as Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Michael Jordan, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Robert Redford, Sean Penn, and a host of other Sports Figures, Politicians and Movie Stars.
